Prior to this, I worked at MTV News where I produced a number of culture podcasts including the short lived but dearly beloved Rookie podcast. And I got my start as a fill-in producer at Marketplace working on the flagship show.
I currently host a radio show called Sunset Hour on KXLU 88.9fm on Sunday nights from 7-8pm where I chat with people doing cool community driven work in LA and play international deep cuts, jazz, shoegaze and dreamy music on the radio.
When I’m not working, I can mostly be found gardening, cooking, exploring California and spending time in nature. I also collect oral histories with the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project and Tenants Union. We launched Tenants In Common to preserve the oral histories of people living and fighting to stay in LA and to serve as a resource for people facing eviction and unjust rent increases.
The projects I choose to work on, professionally and personally, are guided by my pursuit of social justice and my own experience navigating multiple identities & cultures while growing up in Southern California.
