Honey Power: What Now LA?

Trump has been inaugurated, his cabinet has been chosen, and the world feels like it’s falling apart-- wondering what we can do now to make changes amidst the chaos? Starting locally, in our home of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Municipal Election is taking place March 7th, and this is our time where we as a community can make a positive impact! It is crucial that everyone is educated on the local issues and the accessible ways in which we can take action. Come listen to music, speakers, and get informed!

We will have:
- PROGRESSIVE LA VOTERS GUIDE: March 7th ballot measures and candidates
- PHONE BANKING/ LETTER WRITING: lists of numbers and addresses of congressman you can contact to change issues
- CONSCIOUS CONSUMER GUIDE – what businesses to protest or support with your wallet
- LOCAL ACTION GROUP LIST - local groups you can volunteer any free time or money with, as well as useful apps and websites that can inform you ways you can help

Sylvie Shain : District 13 Candidate
Walker Foley : Organizer of Food & Water Watch - Southern California
René Christian Moya : Jacobin Los Angeles Reading Group Co-organiser
Matthew Donovan: The Future Left Co-founder
Steve Stokes: Progressive Democrat, Senate Candidate 2016
